If you are traveling south on Route 1 on your way to the beach, you will pass through Frederica real estate. This is indeed a very small town of roughly 775 residents. Frederica is just about five miles south of Dover AFB and adjacent to the community called, Little Heaven. This area of the Delaware coast is along the Delaware Bay, and you can easily reach Bower's Beach with a quick drive. This entire area is rich in history. Barratt's Chapel, circa 1780, is about five minutes drive south of the Frederica area along Route 1, as well.
